Violent Hippy Records

Where to start? The three founders of the label Don Stewart, Mike Clam, and Chris 'Quan-fi' Weatherhead, have known each other for a combined total of 450 years. Pretty impressive huh? Along with figuring out how to live for ever, we have been interested in putting out fine music for the ears for 13 years, starting with a collaboration between Mike and Don's then band Bobaphett, and Chris' label Big Enormous Records (a label based in Tacoma with such fine artists as Swelter), putting out a split 7" with the late, great Texas rockers Starfish and Trance Syndicate Records. There are still a few copies of this available, and should be posted to the store soon. Anyway, the three came together and decided to start something huge.
