Настоящее имя: Teatro Gerolamo, Milan
Familiarly known as “Piccola Scala”, the theatre, built in 1868, is a miniature version of Teatro alla Scala, Milano. Located in the Piazza Beccaria, less than ten minutes' walk from La Scala, the Gerolamo was designed by Giuseppe Mengoni - the man best known for devising Milan's Piazza del Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, from whose roof he fell to his death whilst overseeing construction. The theatre has been restored recently.
