The 50th Anniversary Collection: The Copyright Extension Collection is a series of releases by Bob Dylan that Sony Music released to prevent the recordings from legally entering the public domain in Europe. The albums feature studio and live recordings starting from 1962 that have not previously been commercially released.
- Sony reportedly released only 100 copies each of the first four-CD-R "1962" set. The set was released only in Europe.
- The second volume (1963) in this series was released on vinyl only in November 2013, only 100 copies of the six-LP set were produced.
- The third collection was (1964) released on vinyl only in December 2014 only. Only 1,000 copies of the nine-LP set were produced.
- In December 2015 and in advance of the forthcoming holiday, the 1965 set was offered as a gift to those who purchased the Bob Dylan - The Cutting Edge 1965 – 1966: The Bootleg Series Vol.12: Collector’s Edition box-set released the previous month. The release was a limited edition download of live recordings from Dylan's 1965 world tour.
