Windsor Records, Inc.
Настоящее имя: Windsor Records, Inc.
Vinyl pressing plant in Paterson, New Jersey (USA).
Originally the continuation of a Mr. Wachtel's plastics factory located in the Hearst Newspaper building on Duane Street (Manhattan, NY). The factory manufactured records for Young People's Records using a special vinyl formula by Otto Habel. In 1949 it was purchased by the label's president Lester Troob. Initially the plant kept serving YPR exclusively, but it became a full-time operation when Troob left YPR in the early 1950s. It is unclear when the plant moved to Paterson. It is also unclear when it closed, but it's on record Troob kept operating it until the company could no longer compete with CDs. Windsor Records had a reputation for its quality pressings.
Plant manager: Frank P. Gaudenzi.
