Under-the-Counter Records (2)

Under-the-Counter Records were a D.I.Y label set up to promote new bands and encourage people to buy their music. In September 2007, the first release "Malarkey from Middleton" was a double CD packed with demos, sessions and live material by The Courteeners. However, the newly formed label was abruptly put on hold in November 2007 with the formation of The Courteeners fan forum "Snorting & Cavorting". Under the name of Snorting & Cavorting / S&C Records (2), many unofficial CDs with demos, sessions and live recordings were released between 2008 to 2011.
