L'Oblik, Lyon

Disused factory squatted from December 2015 to August 2016. L'Oblik carried the ambition of a true cultural project, by organizing several artistic and sports activities open to everyone. Rooms were intended for music, film screenings, computer science, martial arts... Huge hangars were used for activities such as roller, derby, football, and about twenty associations came to enjoy the immense space. Other projects were in progress, such as landscaping. A real social place, L'Oblik wanted to put people from different backgrounds in touch. Persons in precarious situation or migrant families were also welcomed. In August 2016, the police carried out the evacuation of the squat. Located in Villeurbanne close to Lyon, France.
