Wobblyhead

Label run by Jeff Baumann, Mark Moore and Erik Kowalski, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the fall of 1998, Baumann and Kowalski worked together at Atomic Records. After Moore and Baumann heard Kowalski's musical collaborations with Scott Beschta, recorded under the name Roommates, their music provided the impetus for creating Wobblyhead, a label that could provide a platform for creative, unheard music. The purpose of this here record label is to spread the gospel of what we feel is music that has to have an outlet. what is the Wobblyhead sound you say? The soundtrack to world domination. Perhaps. A conduit to channel the ghost of quality past while contacting souls of innovation? Certainly. In fact, soul is what is all about. Not in the strictest sense, but rather music that is all about uncompromised vision: a dirty, groovy,reflective, joyous celebration of organic production and electronic experimentation. Sounds all over the map you say? That's the point.
