Label from London, UK. Founded by Jack Shankly and Sahil Varma. Transparent started out as a physical, printed mag/fanzine in 2005. They started putting on shows in London in early 2006, with artists including Girls, Laura Marling, Florence & The Machine, Foals, Telepathe, Noah and the Whale, The XX, Late of the Pier and The Very Best amongst others. The fanzine was morphed into the Blog. In Summer ’09 they put out the first of their limited 7” vinyl singles on Transparent Records.
