Thrash/Punk/Hardcore label/distro from Malaysia, also Records Store now located at Bukit Bintang, centre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Basement Records started as record store around 2003 in Kuala Lumpur for 1 1/2 years then shift their business to Singapore around 2005 for 6 months, on hiatus since then. Everything started with Under the one roof records around 1994, since then - various records label emerged from time to time. in between time, Basement Records started as record label after defunct Donotconsume, Sangsara Records and Life on the edge, the owner also played in band 24 Reasons & All These While. one of the longest and earlier running DIY & underground label in Malaysia.
