Dom zu Halle
Настоящее имя: Dom zu Halle
The cathedral to Halle is the oldest existing church building in the old part of Halle. Here the archbishops of Magdeburg resided for a long time as rulers of the city. The church of Cardinal Albrecht of Brandenburg, together with the adjoining New Residence, should become part of the most influential, powerful and representative monastery north of the Alps. The church was originally a monastery church founded by the mendicant order of the Dominicans in 1271 and finished in 1330 with the patron saint of St. Paul's to the Holy Cross. According to their rules, the monks renounced the tower and transept in their simple, three-aisled hall church.
