Teatro Rosetum di Milano

In 1956 it was the hand of the soprano Maria Callas to cut the inaugural ribbon of Teatro Rosetum. Internationally renowned artists pass through this Center, names of important figures from the past and present such as: Massimiliano Damerini, Orazio Mori, Bruno Canino, Barbara Frittoli. Ruled by the Capuchin friars of the convent of Piazzale Velasquez and under the artistic direction of important names in the Milanese music scene, such as Piero Santi, Luciano Chailly, Quirino Principe, in 1992 the Rosetum Center was awarded the Culture Prize by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giulio Andreotti. Today the Rosetum Cultural Franciscan Artistic Center is directed by fra Marco Finco (ofmcap), who has been involved in bringing the spirit of Francis through theater and music to Italy for over ten years.
