The London Oratory

Catholic church in London, UK (Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster), also known as Brompton Oratory, built in 1884. Alt. names: The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Brompton Oratory, Oratoire de Londres (FR) Organ J.W.Walker & Sons completed in 1954, designed by Ralph Downes (organist of the Oratory 1936-1977), restored in 2005. Also has 2 other smaller organs: in the Little Oratory: organ Flentrop of Holland, built in 1975, restored in 2005; and in the Sanctuary: organ by Peter Collins of 1979, restored in 1998.
