Sail Loft Studios

The studio was established in 1999 by producer Secondson in an old coach house nestled in the lanes of Roath, Cardiff. Following a couple of minor rebrands and major relocations; between the oldest building in Monmouthshire, a disused bank vault and an iconic grade II star listed building. The studio eventually settled deep in the heart of historic Butetown. With a dedicated control room and separate live room with a floating floor/ceiling isolation booth, we are huddled inside an old sail loft in the Cardiff docklands. Our in-house engineer has a BA and MSc in Sound Engineering and Music Production. We have almost 25 years experience of producing, tracking, mixing and mastering a variety of artists and styles in both studio and field locations. Culminating in the production and manufacturing of physical recorded materials on multiple formats and record labels.
