With A Bullet Records (2)

With A Bullet Records was a short-lived christian pop punk and alternative rock record label, based in Govan, Saskatchewan, Canada, and founded by Kevin Gales in November 2006. Gales had already been operating the christian record label Torque Recording Company since 2002. Torque Recording Company had amassed a large hardcore and metalcore fanbase over the years and Gales decided to start a separate imprint to release less-heavy artists and bands. The bands signed to With A Bullet Records included Go Jeff!!!, The Emerson Letters and Kiros. The end of With A Bullet Records came in mid-November of 2007, only a year after it was launched, through the consolidation of several record labels and a distribution deal. On November 13th of 2007, it was announced that Torque Recording Company had signed an exclusive distribution deal with Victory Records for the regions of the USA, UK and Australia (starting in 2008) and Canada (starting in 2009). Through this distribution deal, an agreement was made whereas With A Bullet Records and Throttle Records would consolidate back with Torque Recording Company, under the name Torque Records (2), the later of which would retain all of the signed artists' contracts and merge them into Torque Records' existing roster. The Emerson Letters' album was delayed and eventually released directly through Torque Records, while Kiros' album was re-issued with an updated Torque Records logo on the cover. Go Jeff's album was never re-issued physically under the Torque Records banner.
