Lido (8)
Настоящее имя: Lido (8)
A British black celluloid flexible record dating to 1931, Lido was produced by the Goodson Record Company, using masters previously available on Goodson. The Lido label was very short-lived with all known releases appearing between March & May 1931. The Lido label appears an attempt to capitalise on what remained of Goodson since most of the material issued had already appeared on that label, and no new recordings are known. Since the Goodson Record Company went into liquidation in early 1931 it is possible the liquidators were trying to recoup some loses by re-releasing some masters on Lido, but any such hopes were unrealised as Lido is an exceptionally rare label and sales seem to have been very low.
