R.E.M./Athens LLC - R.E.M. Fan Club

A mail-order label established by the members of R.E.M. in the wake of their recording contract with Warner Bros. Records. Signees were sent a free single every December from 1988 all the way until the band's dissolution in 2011 (amounting to 24 singles), usually consisting of Christmas carols, popular music covers, and live performances. Some years featured video singles in place of 7" or CD singles.
