The Herald Gramophone Record
Настоящее имя: The Herald Gramophone Record
English label commissioned in 1913 by E.W. Pidgeon & Co (Edison agents and wholesalers based in Christchurch, New Zealand) to produce records exclusively for the New Zealand market. This, along with its 'sister' label, Minstrel, are the first New Zealand record labels. The releases were originally on Edison-Bell products, except a few on Beka.
Many examples bear circular-punched mechanical copyright stamps affixed to the labels - a signature of records pressed by Edison Bell.
