Sono Cairo (2)
Настоящее имя: Sono Cairo (2)
To be used for unofficial releases which use the Sono Cairo logo and name. Many such bootlegs were manufactured in Israel.
Identifying Israeli bootlegs: They were manufactured by Koliphone and often have purple/pink, yellow, or white labels, with "Long Play 33" written on the left side, and no other information indicating copyright or manufacturers (although sometimes a small "Koliphone" text can be seen). Some of them have labels that look very thin and transparent with the text printed off center. The occasional label which has additional information will say "All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work and copying of this record reserved" on the bottom, and this copyright notice is identical to the one that appears on the main Koliphone releases of the time. Many of the covers have "STEREO" in brackets that look like arrows. May come in a generic sleeve, and often have poor pressing quality. Catalog numbers started with 170 in the mid 1970s, as well as some which have "No." followed by 3 or 4 digit numbers. Another important thing to note: some Israeli bootlegs bear the Sono Cairo logo, but the albums were originally released by Cairophon, Voice of Lebanon, or another Arabic labels.
