MD records is the brainchild of Mark Anderson and Des Parker from the United Kingdom, to put out limited issues of previously unissued Soul releases as well as re-releases of hard to find 45s. The label started in 2017 and in 2020 Northern Soul DJ Jordan Wilson joined MD Records.
