Red Strings Records

Pittsboro, NC record label active in the mid-2000s established by Kelly Davis, a former general manager of Guilford College radio station WQFS 90.9 FM. The label was originally known as Permaculture Records for their first 4 releases. The name Red Strings Records was a nod to local civil war resisters who wore red strings on their lapels or taped to their windows to distinguish themselves from rebels.
