"Buy Or Die!" was the slogan of Ralph Records, and also the name of its bi-annual mail order catalog from 1977 to 1989. Five EP samplers were released in parallel of some of these catalogs to promote new Ralph Records albums at that time: Buy Or Die 1980 in support of catalog #5 (April 1980) Buy Or Die 1980½ in support of catalog #6 (October 1980) Buy Or Die 1981 in support of catalog #7 (April 1981) Buy Or Die #14 in support of catalog #14 (March 1987) Nice Doggie!! (Looks Harmless, Doesn't He?) Buy Or Die in support of catalog #14½ (November 1987) Each cover artwork matches that of the corresponding catalog.
