Former concert hall in Berlin, Germany, opened on 05 October 1888, destroyed during World War II on 30 January 1944; previous home of the Berliner Philharmoniker.
The concert hall was expanded in 1898 by construction of the Beethovensaal Berlin on an adjacent garden (entrance at Köthener Straße 32).
The new Berliner Philharmonie was built from 1960 to 1963 by Hans Scharoun and opened 15 October 1963 at a different location.
