Jump Up Throw Down
Настоящее имя: Jump Up Throw Down
Although not explicitly defined, Jump Up Throw Down was a jump-up series marked by a frivolous, simplistic sound of drum & bass that was popular between 1996-97.
As a style it was superseded by the darker, more intense sounds of the likes of Ed Rush & Optical, Bad Company & Ram Trilogy that would go on to become the dominant form of drum & bass over the following years.
As a term, 'jump-up' was around from at least 1994 and was used to signify the type of populist tunes that would often provoke an immediate reaction.
