Thompson-Werke

Thompson-Werke GmbH, Düsseldorf was a German soap and cleaning stuff manufacturer 1877 succeeded Dr. Richard Thompson and Ernst von Sieglin in England soap to pulverize. Shortly thereafter Sieglin started in Aachen with the production of soap powder with the swan logo. In 1929, Fritz Henkel participated in the Thompson GmbH and took over in 1933 all shares. In 1969, the Thompson works merged with the Siegel works, which in turn were taken over by Henkel in 1971.
