Revolution Records Limited

Canadian record company founded in September 1969 by Mort Ross, Doug Riley, and Terry Brown. Divisions included the label Revolver (2), two publishing companies (Revolution Music (4) and Modo Music), the recording studio Revolution Sound Studios Ltd., and talent agency Modo Productions Ltd. In November 1969 Ross took over the company entirely (Doug Riley and Terry Brown would instead open the studio under the name Toronto Sound Studios) with Martin Onrot as Vice President. In December 1970 Ross signed a deal with RCA Limited to distribute his label and to record at RCA Studios, Toronto and Ross co-founded Revolution Artist Management with Onrot as a partner.
