Canadian/American label and record company launched in Winnipeg & North Dakota by Leonard Zimmer in 1958. Often associated to the Italian label Bluebell Record. The "Records, Ltd." part was dropped ca. 1961 in North American and ca. 1971 in Italy: see Canadian American (Consider adding both as labels if they appear on the release).
The short form of the label was revived in the early 90s by Joey Welz through his company Canadian American Records.

Mono LPs are numbered "CALP XXXX" on labels / Stereo LPs are numbered "SCALP XXXX" on labels.
Mono catalog numbers may appear on Stereo releases sleeves.
