Mandel
Настоящее имя: Mandel
The label was first issued in January 1921 as a way to boost Mandel phonograph sells. The primary masters came from Arto, Lyric, and other sources supplied by the standard record broking agency of New York. The first release consisted of popular dance and vocal records, Hawaiian selections, standard selections, both instrumental and vocal, and violin selections. Among the artists recording for Mandel were Raderman's Novelty Dance Orchestra, Ben Selvin's Dance Orchestra, Green Bros Novelty Orchestra, Ferera and Franchini. They released popular dance and vocal numbers that included popular artists such as Elliott Shaw and Ernest Hare who both recorded for Victor and Edison. They only released ten-inch selections that included only 16 individual two sided records. It would have little effect as Mandel canceled the label three months later in April.
