The Blues Collection

This 'umbrella' logo was often employed on issues which accompanied 'Orbis' magazine. See Orbis Orbis were the publication house of the De Agostini Company. Effectively, the label for these releases was "The Blues Collection", produced/compiled by Orbis. Cat#s were prefixed "BLU" The series was issued in Europe/Germany by Charly Records. Cat#s usually prefixed "MJB" The series was issued in the UK and Australia with catalog numbers prefixed by "BLU NC" - thus "BLU NC 001" etc. - and were manufactured in a variety of countries, UK, Czech Republic, etc. However, the following numbers were NOT released in Australia due to copyright issues: 42, 48, 54, 55, 60, 63, 66. This has not stopped some collectors from importing the 'missing' discs into Australia. 90 recordings issued in "The Blues Collection" series (CDs & Cassettes).
