UK Record company, listed in this form in the 2nd half of 1980. Before Pye Records Ltd. was about to lose the rights to the name 'Pye' by the end of 1980, they launched the PRT-label as a successor. The company name (or just the trade name of Pye Records Ltd.) was changed to PRT/Pye Records Ltd. around July 1980 as well, presumably to introduce the PRT-brand into the market along with the traditional brand. The company was finally renamed into PRT Records Ltd. (Precision Records & Tapes Limited) on Dec. 31st, 1980.
