German online label, releasing elektro, ambient and experimental music in mp3 format. The original concept set the maximum length of each release to 21 minutes and supplied artwork for making your own TonAtom CD3"-EPs. This limit was abandoned in 2004 with the first full length release. After the first 49 releases the catalogue numbering was revised in early 2005 to categorize releases according to style, tA_A (atmospheric = ambient & more), tA_D (different = experimental & more) and tA_E (electronic & more). Last release was in 2015.
