Vinyl mastering and lacquer cutting studio, which also owned a small pressing facility, located in Paris (France), founded in October 1970 by Jean Renard.
Its cuts can be identified by an etched stereo groove fragment symbol resembling its logo in the runout area (see pictures). Please enter the symbol as [Magnum International Logo] in the matrix/runout fields and list the company with Lacquer Cut At credit.
Engineers known to have worked there: Jean-Pierre Bouquet (1974-1976), Georges Collange, Rolland Kaminski, Michel Blanvillain. The studio was also known for renting their lathes to the freelance cutting engineers (e.g. François Terrazzoni, who rented one of their lathe during 6 years between 1981 and 1987, before his own studio acquired their own lathe).
