Bent J

Danish March 1973 to April 2008 bar and jazz venue in Nørre Allé 66, Aarhus, founded and run by Bent Jørgen Jensen (1931-2009). The last concert was held February 29, 2008, after which Ben J retired. The jazz bar was considered such a Aarhus nightlife classic that Kulturarvstyrelsen (National office for preservation of cultural heritage) financed a relocation of the bar's interior dekoration to the living museum in "Den Gamle By", now as "Jazzbar Bent J, "where visitors from time to time can experince live jazz in a 1970's setting.
