A/S Randers Rebslaaeri

In the past, ropes were manufactured in all major Danish cities. Randers Rebslaaeri or Randers Reb was founded in 1840 at a time when there were a number of other rope weaving companys in Denmark - even in Randers. They gradually disappeared. But Randers Reb survived due to the shift to industry and became known to all in Denmark as the factory was the last place in the country where ropes were made.
