Czech short-lived independent label based in Brno with a branch in Ostrava (former Czechoslovakia), with a focus on local artists. Active only 1969–1970. There were 43 releases – 39 7" records, 2 10" records and 1 LP plus 1 10" record (test pressing) – with a total of 241,382 pressed copies.
Genres: pop, beat, rock, soul, Moravian folk music, brass music, polka, spoken word, and as a last but unsuccessful resort to avoid censorship a release with communist propaganda.
The release of “Besídka Zvláštní školy” by Šimek & Grossmann was censored and subsequently cancelled by Gramofonové Závody after 1,000 copies were already pressed on 5 November 1969.
