Classic Cuts is a series of CD compilations from the Mastermix DJ Service, part of the Music Factory Entertainment Group. The series started in mid-1994, and initially new editions were released monthly; many containing rare, deleted or 12" versions which were at the time not available on CD. The Classic Cuts series was designed to cater for DJs converting to CD, or for new DJs who needed to build an instant music collection of deleted classics. Categories include PARTY, POP/DANCE, ROCK, DISCO, ALTERNATIVE, SOUL & NOVELTY. In common with other Mastermix releases, the Classic Cuts series was only available to subscribing DJs, or in authorised DJ stores.
