Pioneer Works

Pioneer Works is a non-profit artist-run cultural center in Red Hook, New York City. Founded by artist Dustin Yellin who purchased the colossal three storey brick factory building in Red Hook in 2011. In June 2012, Pioneer Works first opened its doors to the public as well as event space as as workspace of artists. "Pioneer Works encourages radical thinking across disciplines by providing practitioners a space to work, tools to create, and a platform to exchange ideas that are free and open to all. We are driven by the realization that humanity is facing unprecedented social, intellectual, and spiritual challenges; our programs explore new ways of facing those challenges by using the arts and sciences dynamically as both a lens and catalyst."
