Villeroy & Boch AG, short V & B, is a German manufacturer of ceramics, whose origin dates back to 1748. Named after its two founders, François Boch and Nicolas Villeroy, the company is still largely owned by the families of Boch-Galhau (major shareholders) and Villeroy de Galhau after more than 265 years. The headquarters of Villeroy & Boch are in monastery buildings of the Abbey Mettlach in Saarland, that were abandoned during the French Revolution. There are also 14 production sites in Europe, Asia and America.
