American Odeon Corporation
Настоящее имя: American Odeon Corporation
Formed as a subsiduary of Carl Lindström A.-G. in 1920-1921, initially to import and distribute foreign recordings, to release mostly classical and operatic material, but also started recording and releasing own material using the studios of Okeh in March 1921. There was much duplication of material between American Odeon and Okeh, and The American Odeon Corporation ceased operations on December 31, 1921, shortly after a visit from a Lindström executive. General Phonograph Corporation subsequently became the exclusive licensee for Carl Lindström A.-G. in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
