The Manufacturers Of Peter Pan Radio

This notice appears on many Australian jazz releases of the early-mid 50s. Peter Pan brand radios were manufactured in Australia by Eclipse Radio Pty Ltd, which became part of Electronic Industries Limited (EIL) following the merger of a number of companies in 1939. The Australian EIL was taken over by Pye (a UK company) in 1959, and subsequently by the Dutch-owned Phillips in 1970.
