Festival In Opposition
Настоящее имя: Festival In Opposition
The Festival in Opposition, taking place in Serbia, is a platform for establishing a relationship of art, education and politics of improvisation, as well as temporary zones of groupness and joint creation, through participatory musical and poetic production. This anti-festival was inspired by Derek Bailey’s Company Weeks, annual week-long free improvisational festivals (1977–1994).
The name of this festival is of course a reference to "Rock in Opposition", the movement of groups which opposed to the monopoly of music industry during the seventies, initiated by Chris Cutler.
