J Jazz Masterclass Series

Series from BBE dedicated to reissuing rare and long-deleted modern Japanese jazz albums. The series is curated by Tony Higgins and Mike Peden (2), and started as a spin-off from the success of the compilation "J Jazz: Deep Modern Jazz From Japan 1969-1984" (2018). Each release is presented in a full reproduction of the original artwork, with inserts and obi strip, plus new updated sleeve notes, and comes on vinyl, CD, and digital download. The first release in the series was Tohru Aizawa Quartet "Tachibana Vol. 1" (2018).
