The long story… KittyWu Records started out in 2007 as a music label in the Portsdown/Wessex creative enclave in the west of Singapore. The Wu’s include creative and musically inclined individuals with backgrounds in advertising, events management and public relations/marketing. Being the music lovers that we are, we decided that it was time we channeled our professional experiences to give back to the local music community and KittyWu was formed. Our focus has always been on supporting forward-thinking and left-field minded, Asian-based musicians/artists with a DIY-rooted, community-minded method of getting their music heard.
