German garment factories, formerly in Osnabrück. "Solida" was the brand name that company founder Georg Hartmann developed for his "invention" of fashionable living and working clothes. Hartmann was a very enterprising and innovative young man of only 18 years, when he first set himself up in September 1919 with a wholesale in textiles .... Production in Osnabrück was discontinued in 1982, but the brand still exists.
