Series on the ESS.A.Y Recordings label. Consists of live in-concert performances, sometimes identified in the release documentation, sometimes not. From liner notes of release CD1092: "In its thirty-six years, Philharmonic Virtuosi explored a far-reaching repertory that embraced more than seven hundred works spanning almost four centuries. For the past twenty-five years, its concerts at SUNY-Purchase (now Purchase College) were digitally recorded. With the termination of the orchestra's activities, ESSAY is releasing a limited series of CDs containing performances from the orchestra's concert performances in the hope that these will provide a legacy of the caliber of this unique ensemble's music-making."
