Masterbeat

US dance music record label, founded in 1996 by a former marketing executive at IBM, dance club DJ Brett Henrichsen. Launched its own digital music online shop Masterbeat.com on January 1st, 2008, operated through a privately-held company, Masterbeat Corporation, which later merged (mid-2010) with AudioStreet, a network of music-related websites. Due to financial difficulties over the (few) years of its existence, Masterbeat.com music download site ceased operations on June 19th, 2011. Since then Masterbeat has been operating as a dance / electronica events organizer, originally in the Los Angeles area, then worldwide.
