Audio Manufacturing Record Co.
Настоящее имя: Audio Manufacturing Record Co.
Lakewood, New Jersey-based pressing plant that largely specialized in LP's, established around 1967. The company pressed namely for Peter Pan Records, London Records (and sublabels such as Parrot, Phase 4 Stereo, Deram, Threshold Records and MAM), and Bell Records (and its successor Arista).
Pressings from this plant were designated on the labels of London and sublabels, as well as the runouts of the labels mentioned, with the matrix suffix AL (signifying Audio, Lakewood, and not to be confused with Allentown Record Co. Inc.). 'AL' began to disappear from the runouts of LP pressings around 1975 and was succeeded by Peter Pan Industries' 'PP' etching in the deadwax.
The plant ultimately shut down in 1989.
