Syntactic

Based in Vienna, Austria, Syntactic released records, tapes and CDs from 1993 to 2001. The label specialized in exceedingly limited editions - typically only 100 of each item (earlier releases were limited to around 60). As a result these are some of the most sought after records ever released in the field of ambient, noise and experimental music. While this label is now defunct, Walter Robotka, the founder and driving force behind the label, is still releasing music through his other label, Klanggalerie.
