Triumph Releasing Corporation

Founded in 1987 by Columbia Pictures as a distribution label for Triumph Films, shortly after the Gaumont buyout of their ownership stake in the movie label. In 1991, following Columbia's acquisition by Sony Pictures, Triumph Releasing Corporation was renamed Sony Pictures Releasing.
