Australian label produced by Vocalion Records, Melbourne, Vic. in 1929 for Edments (a chain of stores in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane). Masters were mostly from U.S. Plaza & NYRL (via Broadway) or were Vocalion's own recordings made in Melbourne plus a few UK Vocalion recordings. Many were released under various pseudonyms (including some used on the original Plaza releases, such as La Palina Broadcasters [Fred Rich] or Buddy Blue & His Band [Smith Ballew]).
