Grøn Koncert

Grøn Koncert (literally green concert) is a Danish annual touring concert event going back to 1983. In 2017, the name was shortened to Grøn. The event showcases 5-10 major Danish acts in 8 major cities around the country attended by 100,000 to 200,000 visitors and staffed by volunteers. The concerts are arranged by Muskelsvindfonden (The Danish organization for the muscular dystrophy-diagnosed), sponsored by the Tuborg brewery, and take place on green fields - hence the name. Among the locations used for the events over time are Tangkrogen, Aarhus, Valbyparken, Ydernæs, Næstved
